GEAR UP FOR GIVING

19 March 2026

Charity Driving Challenge in aid of The Principle Trust Children’s Charity.

Gear Up for Giving charity challenge

a charity day to remember

The Principle Trust Children’s Charity is based in Yorkshire and dedicated to providing free, week-long respite breaks for disadvantaged, underprivileged, or disabled children. Their mission focuses on enhancing the lives of children and families facing significant challenges, such as poverty, trauma, abuse, or disabilities.

By offering these essential holidays, they aim to promote mental health and well-being, strengthen family bonds, and provide relief from the daily hardships many families face.

Land Rover Experience proudly supports The Principle Trust and invites you to join us for an adventurous day of driving that will test both teamwork and driving skills.

On The Day

client / team Hospitality

Gear Up For Giving is an excellent opportunity to elevate team spirit or impress your clients.

With a series of team-building challenges, ample networking time, and a driving competition, Gear Up For Giving can serve as a fantastic platform to showcase your business while fostering client and team relationships.

the Challenge

The Land Rover Experience instructor team has meticulously crafted this unique challenge day to test the courage and teamwork of all drivers, regardless of their experience level, from recent license holders to seasoned off-road enthusiasts.

The driving challenges will push your skills and bravery as you accumulate team points throughout the day.

During the ‘vehicle gymkhana,’ accuracy in speed, timing, distance, and route planning will be essential across various measured tasks.

Will your team emerge victorious?

vehicles

Team vehicles will be provided from our fleet of new Defender, Range Rover, and Discovery models. All vehicles are less than 12 months old and equipped with cutting-edge Jaguar Land Rover technology.

We will supply all necessary equipment, but please dress appropriately for outdoor conditions.

REFRESHMENTS

Upon arrival at The Bull at Broughton, you will be greeted with tea, coffee, and breakfast sandwiches before the challenge begins.

During lunchtime, you’ll be hosted at the Land Rover Experience centre for a relaxed meal with other guests. You will hear from The Principle Trust team about how your participation has positively impacted families in Yorkshire. This is a wonderful chance to connect with other teams.

Following the driving challenge, you’ll return to The Bull for a hearty pie and peas supper and the prize-giving ceremony!
